Join us on beautiful Bowen island the afternoon of July 13th, 2019 for  
mini-retreat with Jen Reddish, Master Therapeutic Counsellor, to connect with other birth workers and develop important tools for preventing burnout and managing signs of vicarious trauma, building your resiliency so you can continue to do this important work.

Mini-Retreat Itinerary

1:30-2:15pm (optional): Grab a coffee and connect with fellow workshop participants at Snug Cove Cafe, just off the ferry. If you decide to walk on to the ferry, this will be our meeting place for helping shuttle you to the workshop location.

2:30-5:30pm (Workshop): Facilitated by Jen Reddish, Master Therapeutic Counsellor, we will learn how to recognize signs of burnout and vicarious trauma and learn tools for prevention!

5:30-7:30 (Optional Group Activity):Weather dependent, join us for a post-workshop bagged-lunch beach picnic and cleansing ocean swim, or catch a ride back to the ferry for those heading straight back to the city. There are also lots of restaurants to check out for dinner for those who prefer to go out. *Exact details of optional post-workshop activity will be sent out closer to the date.
