So while your anxiety is still present in your life, regardless of any diagnosis or lack-there-of, one thing is for sure: YOU NEED TO LEARN HOW TO MANAGE IT!
Join Jen Reddish, Master Therapeutic Counsellor with almost 10 years of experience on this topic for a half day retreat learning and practicing ways to mange your symptoms of anxiety.
Your day will include:
A guided mindfulness walk through the forest in the gorgeous countryside on the outskirts of Calgary where this retreat is being held
A welcome circle with nourishing snacks and refreshments
An interactive psycho-educational workshop + art therapy process with Registered Master Therapeutic Counsellor Jen Reddish where you will be supported to gain insight around your anxiety to help you cope with the symptoms that go with it. Jen will teach you ways to manage your symptoms of anxiety and give you opportunities to practice these techniques in-session, and she will also introduce you to strategies for long-term healing around your anxiety.
A mini yoga session & talk on yoga + anxiety facilitated by Cher Compton from Dragonfly Maternity
An information session on nutrition & anxiety with Q&A’s with Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant Laurel Berube
A light, nourishing dinner with reflective discussion to wrap up your key learning points from the day

When & Where: August 24th from 1:30pm-5:30pm in the peaceful countryside of Priddis on the outskirts of Calgary
Optional Add-On: Join Jen’s morning group session at the same location: Connecting Through Motherhood 10am-1pm (includes lunch) Registration is required - limited space is available.
Optional Group Activity: Continue the Connection with the participants from this workshop by joining an optional refreshing hike at one of the areas beautiful hiking trails. Exact details on this optional group activity will be given closer to the date.
