Thanks for the last session. There were definitely some interesting lightbulbs that went off. I’m glad you challenge me and get me to look at things a different way. I need that.
I just wanted to thank you for the workshop. So much stood out to me and I really learned so much. I loved hearing other women’s stories, it helped to normalize what we are feeling and to feel less alone.
Jen’s Body Image Group was life changing for me.
[The Anger & Rage Workshop] was actually a great confidence booster for me, as I was able to see improvements I’ve made and that I’m doing a pretty good job with what I am doing.

Again, thanks so much for everything. I feel like I’ve learned and grown so much in the last few months since I’ve been seeing you. I understand myself better than I have in my whole life. I can finally see why I act and react and feel in certain ways and can finally start being a little more compassionate towards myself, slowly but surely. With your help I am finally able to see that people love and care for me. Not because I’ve put on a good act and hidden the bad person I’ve always thought myself to be, but because they can see through the act and love the good person that I actually am. I can never be grateful enough to you for helping me see that.
Jen is so understanding; she doesn’t judge, and she makes you feel heard. She just seems to know what to say to put things in perspective. The group setting was good because you are able to hear that you’re not alone, and hear that others are struggling with their own things and that they can relate to your struggles too.
What I liked about your workshop was trying out new things that were out of my comfort zone. Writing poetry and crafting are things I wouldn’t try on my own and they were very interesting in giving me insight. I also liked seeing how common my ‘issues’ are, and how many moms feel the same way, even if we don’t normally talk about it.
I liked the small group, intimate setting and nice space at your workshop, and that it was welcoming of babes in arms. What helped me the most was being able to listen to others share.

I felt very supported by you (and the group as a whole) and although it’s a super uncomfortable process, I appreciate your ability to gently prod and pull out the stuck emotions and then lead me through them as they’re happening. And, strangely enough, I look forward to doing it again.
Jen has such a gentle way about her that makes it easy to open up and talk about difficult emotions. She is compassionate, empathetic, kind and relatable. She has a talent for giving perspective on any issue and asking the questions that force you to really think about the issue at hand in a new way. I highly recommend her individual sessions as well as her workshops!
I attended a group session last Tuesday and totally felt inspired to be me and to be happy with myself always, physically and emotionally. I will be attending Jen’s next session. I hope some of my lovely mom friends can try it out too. There is absolutely NO shame or judgement! It really was such an amazing experience and a great way to connect with other women!

I attended a birth preparation one on one session with Jen and it felt so natural. She let me decide how I wanted my session to go instead of directing it. I felt super confident and relaxed after the session and I’m really happy that I attended it. There is tons that I learned about myself and my fears just from an hour long session which flew by. I highly recommend it to anyone that is pregnant or thinking about pregnancy.
