Roots to Wings:

Healing Your Inner Child & Embracing Authenticity

Intensive Group Therapy Weekend Retreat April 4-6, 2025

Bragg Creek, Alberta

This intensive group therapy weekend retreat is focused on inner-child healing & connection to your true, authentic self.

Guided by Registered Master Therapeutic Counsellor Jen Reddish, You will be supported to deeply explore how belief systems, shame messaging and dysfunctional roles that you adapted as you were growing up have been carried with you into adulthood, learn how this may have served you at the time and also understand how to stop repeating patterns (belief systems/behaviours/copings strategies) that may feel more dysfunctional as they hold you back in your life now.

A variety of therapeutic interventions will be used to help you to deepen your self-awareness and open capacity for healing and change. You will be supported to embrace ALL parts of yourself, learn how to care for your inner child(ren) and move forward with courage and confidence as your true authentic self. There is a large focus on inner-child healing & shame releasing during these sessions and Jen’s goal is to support you in fostering greater feelings of empowerment, confidence & authenticity in all areas of your life.

Make it stand out

Jen Reddish is a Registered Master Therapeutic Counsellor with nearly 14 years of experience doing therapy and facilitating groups and workshops. She started her own private counselling practice in the fall of 2016, shortly after becoming a mother. Jen is passionate about counselling and loves supporting women to connect to their intuition and authentic selves.

Jen LOVES group therapy because she recognizes that the connection between group participants that develops through sharing and listening vastly increases self awareness, fosters trust, safety and expedites progress with her clients. She has an integrative counselling approach and believes that connecting to your body and emotions is key to moving through challenges in your life.

The intensive group therapy weekend retreat will give you an opportunity to go deeper into your journey of healing with a primary focus on deep self-connection. You will be gentle guided and supported to increase your self-awareness, foster courage, confidence and growth, create healthier relationships with all parts of yourself, with people in your life and understand how to manage your emotions effectively.

You will be supported to deeply explore the root cause of current issues to help you make long-term changes, stop repeating patterns that hold you back and you will be guided through experiential activities that will support you in breaking free from the cycle of shame to be able to live more authentically.

This weekend retreat has limited space (Max 8 participants) to ensure that there is ample opportunity to process during the sessions.

Meals throughout the weekend & Accommodation on Friday & Saturday night will be provided as a part of this retreat.

There will be optional before and after activities to support you to regulate your nervous system and integrate your learning and awareness in a grounded state of awareness.
