Family of Origin: Intensive Group Therapy Weekend Retreat BRAGG CREEK, AB

Join us for this intensive group therapy weekend retreat in Bragg Creek, Alberta.

Friday February 2nd - Sunday February 4th

If you’ve attended workshops with Jen in the past, note that this will be a different experience than the workshops! Group therapy is closer to individual therapy in the sense that you will be challenged to deeply explore and question yourself to gain insight, and the intensity of these sessions in this weekend retreat will provide opportunity for you to be able to make substantial progress towards your therapy goals. One of the added values of the group therapy experience is being able to reflect on what gets triggered for you as others share and also give and receive feedback from others in the session. (Group feedback will be guided by Jen).

Earlybird Rate Ends June 30th!

This intensive group therapy weekend is focused on Family of Origin (the family you grew up with). You will be supported to deeply explore how the role that you adapted as you were growing up has carried with you into adulthood, learn how this may have served you at the time and also understand how to stop repeating patterns (belief systems/behaviours/copings strategies) that may feel more dysfunctional as they hold you back in your life now. A variety of therapeutic interventions will be used to help you to deepen your self-awareness and open capacity for healing and change.

You will be supported to develop your awareness around your common core beliefs & default shame messaging to help you leave behind what is no longer serving you in your present & learn tools to support you with breaking out of dysfunctional family roles. There is a large focus on inner-child healing & shame releasing during these sessions and Jen’s goal is to support you in fostering greater feelings of empowerment, confidence & authenticity in all areas of your life.

The intensive group therapy weekend retreat will give you an opportunity to go deeper into the work you have started in Individual Therapy with a primary focus on building your self-awareness to help you increase your self-esteem, create healthier relationships with others and manage your emotions effectively.

You will be supported to deeply explore the root cause of current issues to help you make long-term changes, stop repeating patterns that hold you back and you will be guided through experiential activities that will support you in breaking free from the cycle of shame to be able to live more authentically.
